The Future Nurses Empowerment Foundation exists to be that community — and we need your help to grow it.

The Nursing Profession Needs New Leaders

The United States needs more nurses — and it needs nurses who reflect the full diversity of the patients they serve. Studies show that diverse healthcare teams deliver better outcomes, reduce health disparities, and build greater trust with underserved communities. Yet the pipeline into nursing remains narrow, expensive, and often inaccessible to the students who would benefit most from entering the profession.

FNEF was founded in 2024 by nurses who lived this reality — who navigated the financial and emotional challenges of nursing school without a roadmap, and who are determined to make the path easier for the next generation. Our programs are built on lived experience, not theory.

The mentors who will guide them are out there, but they haven't been connected yet. The resources that will help them pass their boards exist, but they're not accessible to everyone.
